Higher Ground Worship Center, a fellowship
of the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church was organized on April 29, 2005.
We Believe
that Jesus Christ shed His blood for the remission of sins, (Romans 3:25) and for the regeneration of penitent sinners, and
for salvation from sins. (John 3:5-9, Eph. 2:1-10) That a man must be born again. (John 3:3-7) That the Bible is
the inspired and infallible Word of God. That sanctification is an instantaneous second definite work of grace, obtainable
by faith on the part of Regenerated Believers. (Gal. 3:11) That the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and fire is obtainable by a
definite act of appropriate faith, on the part of a fully cleansed believer, and that the initial evidence of the reception
of this experience is speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. (Acts 2:4, Acts 19:6) We believe also in
Divine Healing as in the atonement (Matt. 8:14-18, Jas. 5:14-16, Mark 16:14-18) In the imminent personal premillenial second
coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ (I Thess. 4:15-18, Titus 2:13). In the everlasting peace and happiness for the saints
and eternal punishment for the wicked. (Matt. 25:46, Rev. 21:7-8) We believe and teach that all believers shall be baptized
by immersion. (Matt. 28:19-20, Mark 1:9-11) The method of which shall be once backwards in the name of the Father, and of
the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. We believe in the Lord's supper or communion and feet washing. (Luke 22:19-20, Matt.
26-29, I Cor. 11:23-30, John 13:4-17)
